JURLIQUE EUROPE 

Australian skincare brand Jurlique is redeploying in UK/Europe after a major reorganisation. We were appointed as Head of Europe, leading team of multicultural, multilingual experts, activating distributor and retailer networks, driving expansion across EMEA and providing the Hong Kong-based management with in-depth regional understanding and senior management expertise.

OUATE LE TOUQUET PARIS-PLAGE

OUATE is a French start-up that launched the first skincare range for kids 4-11 yr old.  We drafted the Business Plan, supported the founder's fund raising, implemented the key management tools and acted as Sales Director France & International for the first 3 years. As OUATE successfully expanded globally and the management team started to grow, our contribution also evolved to a mentoring role of the junior Sales & Marketing team, and an advisory function to the CEO & founder. The Collection also sat on OUATE's strategic committee, and is an investor.

MODILAC

MODILAC is a leading European manufacturer of baby milk powder. In 2018, they  considered a diversification in the cosmetic industry. The Collection served as project leader, bringing cosmetic expertise to baby milk professionals and coaching the team to reposition the brand, build a credible story between the baby food and skincare universes, define the value proposition, develop the product range and prepare the launch.

ALICE DELICE

ALICE DELICE is a leading French cookware and kitchenware retailer. In 2018, the company decided to challenge its business model and to proactively promote and support the increasingly popular home-made cooking trend. Realising that the consumer centric cosmetic industry had much to share with the world of kitchenware retail, ALICE DELICE asked The Collection to join their Advisory Board to challenge and support their Executive Committee, with a specific focus on marketing & promotion, on-& offline consumer experience, and activation of the community on social media.

GISELE DELORME

Following a change of ownership in 2016, The Collection was appointed as General Manager of this 40 year old company, redefined its strategy and addressed all aspects of business. We then recruited and coached the management team and organised the transition to the permanent leadership.

CELLUBLUE is a leading player in the anticellulite category online thanks to a strong mastering of influencers and social media techniques. We coached the CEO and head of marketing to draft and implement a strategic plan, and assisted in the recruitment and coaching of a new head of sales

HERBORIST EUROPE

Shanghai-based HERBORIST's Head of International needed to assess its European distribution and wanted to boost sales results. We presented an alternative strategy, coached the European team, introduced the brand to key retailers across Europe and relaunched the brand in department stores, standalone stores, perfumeries & E-Commerce.

ART MEETS ART is a Paris-based start-up preparing the launch of a new niche fragrance brand. Their CEO requested a coaching of their approach, with a specifc focus on distribution and international expansion, as the management team was defining the brand features and positioning

TRUE NORTH COSMETICS

TRUE NORTH, a Danish skincare brand, needed the experience of cosmetics professionals to grow its sales globally. Part of the assignment involved the development, launch and exploitation of MySkinCoach, the first mobile app delivering a science-based skin evaluation and prescription based on a selfie.

BEAUTÉ PRESTIGE INTERNATIONAL

BEAUTÉ PRESTIGE INTERNATIONAL were going through a series of organisational changes.
We temporarily managed the Middle East region and recruited a Dubai-based Area Manager. We also directed the Export Trade Marketing Department, and supported the development and launch of the niche fragrance range 'La Collection by Elie Saab'.

RADICAL SKINCARE

RADICAL SKINCARE, a California-based prestige skincare start-up, wanted to accelerate its international development outside the USA.
We managed Sales, Marketing & Business Development, and coordinated Public Relations, Store Design, Forecasting, Pricing, Logistics, Product development and Regulatory.
Within 18 months, the brand was introduced in 10 markets and achieved Net sales of US$ 3M / year.

FILORGA

FILORGA, a mid-size French skincare brand, asked us to assist on its re-launch in the UK.
We introduced the brand to retailers, including Marks & Spencer where it rapidly ranked Top #2 skincare. We also selected the local Sales, Marketing and PR teams, now managed by the company. Finally, we drafted its global Travel Retail strategy.

SHISEIDO EUROPE - MIDDLE EAST - AFRICA

Following the appointment of a new President of International, we were asked to design a re-entry strategy in the Middle East, including a complete review of the forces in place and detailed recommendations for the set up of a local subsidiary.

BEAUTE PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL

BEAUTE PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL were a leading cosmetic distributor intending to accelerate their conversion to retail by convincing internationally recognized retail brands to partner. We drafted a business case, coached their Finance, Sales and Marketing teams to build enticing business cases, and supported their efforts to acquire several brands from global players, including the Estee Lauder Companies, L’Oréal Luxury and L'Occitane for Pakistan..

BASSEM AL QASSEM is a Riyadh-based fragrance retailer. They intended to expand globally when we were asked to reposition the brand and plan the global distribution strategy. We acted as COO, reorganised Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply chain operations, turned around the business and positioned it for international expansion..

DEPACK is specialized in the design and production of permanent and temporary commercial spaces (trade fair stands, stores, pop-ups, podiums, Well established in the Wine & Spirits and fashion industries, DEPACK CEO asked us to coach their team in order to adapt the message to cosmetic players expectations and gain new clients

SOFTMESOLOGY offers innovative high-tech skincare solutions. We were asked to create and manage their Export Sales Department, develop presentation tools for the sale force, select distributors and beauty spas globally.
